Evolution not Revolution: An Oral History of Women’s Club Golf in Scotland c.1945-1995
A key component of my PhD research was the creation of an oral history archive of 25 oral history interviews of women golfers across Scotland who played golf at club level during the period 1945-1995. Due to Covid-19 the majority of these interviews (21/25) were undertaken remotely on Microsoft Teams . These oral history interviews are fully transcribed and archived at the R&A World Golf Museum, where some excerpts from the interviews were included in the temporary exhibition Pass it on: Women’s Experiences in Golf at the R&A World Golf Museum.
